EXT. HIGHWAY - DAY

A big, 18-wheeler truck is sideways over a highway, blocking traffic. A small car has stopped next to it, within an inch, unscratched but with a very white-faced driver inside. There are other cars, all undamaged. The TRUCK DRIVER is climbing down from his vehicle.

TRUCK DRIVER

Jesus H. Christ!

The TRUCK DRIVER takes a few deep breaths, looks around, and walks to the small car and knocks on the window.

TRUCK DRIVER

Hey mister, are you all right?

The man inside does not respond, just grips the wheel with white knuckles, and stares forward. The TRUCK DRIVER repeats the knocking and waves his hand in front of the windshield. Some other drivers get out of their cars and come to the truck.

DRIVER 1

Hey, what happened?

TRUCK DRIVER

I don't know. My truck just stopped, just like that, no warning or anything. Is everyone all right? Can you help me with this guy?

DRIVER 1
(Looking around)

Everyone seems all right. This guy seems to be in shock, maybe. Hey, is there a doctor here? Did someone call 911 already?
